Product description

ARKOC 973 Series pressure relief control valves; Is a safety control valve designed to protect the mains system, which automatically discharges sudden changes in the upstream side of the water mains and in the end water pressure of the pumps in and out of the system. When the pressure line of the pipeline exceeds the set point, the valve quickly opens itself and protects the system by releasing excess pressure. When the pressure in the pipe line drops to normal level, the valve automatically closes slowly and tightly without impact.

Things to be aware of during installation and use

Before installing the valve on the pipeline, the pipeline must be free from large impurities.

In case of a possible failure, the isolation valve (sliding valve or butterfly valve) should be placed in the direction of water flow of the control valve for faster intervention.

When mounting the valve in place, the lifting rings on it must be used.

The valve should be mounted according to the direction of the arrow on the cover.

Sufficient space must be left around the valve to easily make the necessary settings and maintenance.

If accessories are installed on the valve, care must be taken to avoid possible damage and, if possible, removal of accessories may be more appropriate if it can be reinstalled.
